A Hardox steel plate can take huge amounts of abuse. And a lot of existing users already know this, but maybe not just how much. SSAB looked for a way to enhance Hardox’s already leading reputation as the strongest steel plate in the market.
!
Looking to reach a broad audience of possible Hardox users and boost the brand’s credibility we decided to combine the serious with the entertaining. By taking a business to consumer approach and exploring the use of new media we, together with the client, identified the opportunity to use video as our main channel.
.
““The Bring It On Show” is a five-episode video web show exposing a Hardox steel plate container to brutal abuse. The format is easy-going. Guided by an amazed host and an SSAB specialist team, we witness how Hardox stands up to the treatment.
www.hardoxinmybody.com is the hub of the campaign, boosted by a YouTube channel, banners and emails. Our approach demonstrates that big industrial corporations can use new media, and very effectively too.
